25 years and I still haven’t got that long piece yet

Do you know what today is? It’s the 25th anniversary of Alexey Leonidovich Pajitnov‘s first release of his initial programming of TETRIS.

Two things came to my attention through this event.  There is a name for the experience of seeing TETRIS peices falling in your head, keeping you awake even though you’re no longer playing the game (Repetitive Stress Syndrome).  Also, there are several wikipedia pages that deal directly with issues surrounding  random number generation.

    I guess this is all going into your multi-volume complaint letter to Apple regarding iTunes.
